All we're trying to do is configure it so that if a site becomes unavailable, the BigIP box automatically redirects the request to a different site.
i.e. we've got a scenario where a site is being served by a cluster of 2 web servers. If both web servers are unavailable or take longer than a predetermined time to respond, it should redirect all traffic to a different server - ideally with a different host header.
Thanks!

You can set action on service down to reselect in the pool configuration in the event you still have an available server within the pool. The fallback host is configured in the http profile that is attached to your virtual server. If there are no available services remaining in your pool or pools that are referenced in your virtual server, then the fallback host is used. Please reference the configuration manual appropriate to your version of 9.x software available on ask.f5.com.
