F5 Virtual Server - Pool using FQDN based NodeList - missing Ephemeral node
I have setup a new FQDN based NodeList - with AutoPopulate set to Enabled. The FQDN resolves to 2 A records ( 2 x nodes, 10.x.x.88 and 10.x.x.46). Under the F5 Node List both nodes appear. I have created a Pool that references the FQDN Node List above and is set with RoundRobin for load balancing method. When I now look at the Pool members for this Pool - I see 2 rows in the "Current Members" table - the first has Ephemeral set to "No" and with "::" in the Address, and the second has Ephemeral set to "Yes" and with "10.x.x.88" in the Address. Additionally when I look at the network statistics ALL traffic is going to the 10.x.x.88 downstream node - and 10.x.x.46 is zero'd out, as in it is receiving NO traffic at all. Have I got something fundamentally wrong with the approach - thanks in advance to any suggestions.

Jeremy,
I know this is an old thread, but did you ever get this resolved? I am having the same issue.

Can you provide VIP config? Do you have any persistence profile? What sort of traffic is hitting the VIP?
