I am upgrading from 11.2 to 11.6. I am using LTM + ASM. Just want to check, there would be no http class in 11.6, how then ASM will work? The upgrade procedure would automatically ...

ghost-rider_124Thanks for the great info. How about other configs like irule? The upgrade procedure will take care of this by itself?- Brad_Parkerconfigs will all upgrade as expected, iRules on the hand will be unaffected; so if you happen to use any deprecated commands they could throw TCL errors if they don't exist in 11.5, however I don't know off hand of any commands that have been deprecated within a major version. i.e. 11.x
- ghost-rider_124Thanks Brad. What is the recommended way to upgrade from 11.2 to 11.6 with minimum downtime. Like I can take standby device from the HA and upgrade it to 11.6 then make it master. Test the services and all good then upgrade the second box also
- Brad_ParkerJust like you suggested, upgrade the standby. Make it primary(most likely will need to force the 11.2 box offline as they won't communicate properly) and ensure everything works as you'd expect. Then finish up with upgrading the other to 11.6.
