F5 session
HI,
I have a cookie persistence enabled on my VIP. My pool member has 2 servers in it. when i access the site my request goes to the first server. I make this first server down & when i refresh the page my session breaks & goes to sorry page. if i open the same site in new tab then it goes to the other server.
Is this the expected behaviour of F5 ? Does the session breaks when cookie is enabled & the server is made down ? if yes can some one give the explanation why does my session breaks ?

Hi, yes it's normal behaviour, The BIG-IP system takes no action on existing connections, until sessions timeouts end. How to manage this SOL 15095

For immediate connection reset you need to choose "Reject".
