Yes, you can have a pool defined with multiple services.

Yes, you can use the same certificate on both client and server but, why would you want to do that? Why use SSL at all in the first place if both client and server are using the same certs? The answer is Yes, you can but, it's not standard practice. You could, instead, use pre-shared key between the client and server so yo don't have to use certificates at all IF it's the same certificate. Pre-shared key makes the transaction faster, I suppose
