F5 not syncing all configuration data
Hello, I'm in the process of converting from Cisco ACE (4710's) to F5 4200v's. I thought I had HA working (active/standby) but when entering the nodes on the active unit I set the default node monitor to icmp but the standby unit doesn't show this change (even though it shows it is syncing it's config with the device group). Is this normal behavior? I would think that all config changes would be synced.

did the newly created nodes sync?
most, if not all, "Local Traffic" configuration syncs, so the default node monitor should as well.

They are setup for automatic (incremental) sync and when looking at device status they both show green (in sync).

Try doing a full-sync instead of incremental - see if that does it. I've noticed issues with incremental sync where changes to certain objects don't seem to trigger the "this-object-needs-to-be-incrementally-synced" in the F5.

Hello, Sorry for the belated reply. I found that even a full sync didn't sync changes made to "default" objects, so what I did was to make custom objects that did the same thing. These sync automatically just fine. Thank you for your time in answering this.
