F5 not distributing load
Hi Experts,
I have this scenario: a client application, receiving incoming requests and sending them to F5 using Web Logic protocol T3S, which in turn distributes load to Web Logic servers. The problem seems to be that F5 does not distribute the load on all the WL servers but uses only one instead.
The Java program is pointing at the F5 address correctly. There are some voices within the company saying T3 or something on that protocol could be the culprit of this. Could anybody please help me clarify this issue? What things could be explored?
Thanks, Rafael

Hello Rafael,
This really depends on the configuration of the VIP. Off the top of my head, reviewing your traffic path, it looks like all requests may be coming from the same IP. This can result in only the first pool member being utilized. Try out OneConnect with a 255.255.255.255 mask. If you need persistence, utilize a cookie based profile.
EDIT - If this is a production VIP, be careful utilizing OneConnect. Review the Recommendations section on the below SOL.
