F5 Migration from 1600 (10.1.2) to i2600

Hi,

 

I am planning for hardware replacements and traffic migrations on new i2000 series F5 from 1600 series F5 nodes running with 10.1.2 software version.

 

Is there any steps tested by someone or MOP/Document for this type of activity.

 

Its for live customers so I dont wana impact their traffic.

 

existing 1600 series F5 Appliance are running with 10.1.2 software version

we are replacing it with i2600 box

 

we have one standalone swap/migration and another one is in cluster setup.

    What F5 TMOS version are you migrating to?

     

    Recommend you look at https://devcentral.f5.com/s/articles/bigdiff-1160 as a great tool to compare configuration during migrations.
