I would like to see this feature too, even with APM enabled, AAA options in the "System Authentication" profile type are very limited, with no option for SAML/OAuth/OIDC

If APM module is not active, you can use AD, LDAP, RADIUS, TACACS+ for remote authentication. If APM module is active, Remote - APM based option is active. 
You need to configure SAML authentication with APM policy. I haven't tested that with SAML before but you can find the implementation example for LDAP in the link.
