F5 LTM VE and CMP (Clustered Multi-processing)

Hi,

I have tried to activate CMP in F5 LTM VE with max 4 cores and 12G of memory. The system does not allocate memory to other 3 cores, only to one TMM/core? tested with versions 11.4.1 (608.0) and 11.4.0 (2419.0). What am I doing wrong here?

show /sys tmm-info:

Could it be that it only shows the memory allocated to the process, and not down to the threads?

  • to be sure i would open a ticket with support, personally im not quite sure if VE supports CMP.
