F5 LTM upgrade from Version 10.2.4 to Version 11.6.0 HF6

If you're not experienced with such major upgrades, using a proxy installation may help you, i.e. you first upgrade from 10.2.4 to 11.2.1, and then from 11.2.1 to 11.6. Chewing it all at once might turn out to be too difficult, therefore, using v11.2.1 as a midway-checkpoint is worth a consider. The upgrade from 10.2.4 to 11.5.3 or 11.6 is a common project for which many companies hire external consultants for. Major upgrades are still a weak spot of F5, unfortunately not as straight-forward, especially in case of multiple provisioned modules and complex configurations.
