F5 LTM Interface flapping
The LTM interface keeps flapping.
This caused the LB to keep failover between active and standby status.
Unable to find the reason. Any suggestions or advise plz ?

- Hi! Just a few questions to help us help you: What does your LTM log say? Do you have LACP configured? Have you checked the switch/router logs? /Patrik

Hi patrick, Observed the below LTM logs and HA peer unreachable messages. tmm transmit failed: Network is unreachable Checked the switch logs and observed the LB onnected interface got flapped. There were no trunks found - Which version are you running? Have you checked the switches for transmit errors? Is it only one interface that's failing?

Im running BIGIP version 9.3.1 . there were no errors in the switch ports. The issue was fixed by rebooting the machine..but this may occur again. - I'd contact F5 for this one. You've got quite an an old version and they most like som bug documented.

Are you using network failover or serial cable?
If network then you should check the network cable and change it preferably. It is best practise to use two physical interfaces directly cabled between the two devices, in an LACP trunk. Use a single self-IP, configured for Default Port Lockdown. If you can, upgrade the software to at least 10.2.4. Bear in mind that serial failover does not work after v11.
