F5 LTM Email Alert for one down pool member not generated ..... What could will be the possible cause??
We have configured several pools for various VS. One of our pool is having a two pool members. We have already configured email alerts for the pool members/node if the goes down from F5 or behind the F5 at application level as well. Node: 10.50.169.13:7222 is a part of a pool and when it was pushed to down state from the application level, its configured email alert in user_alert.conf file haven't generated any email for indicating that the pool member is down..... What could will be the possible cause of it .... As our software team has a reservation on it.
Thanks.

have you tested it by logger command?
sol11127: Testing SNMP traps on the BIG-IP system (9.4.x - 11.x)
https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/11000/100/sol11127.htmlhave you tried tcpdump?
tcpdump -nni -s0 -w /var/tmp/output.pcap port 25 -v interface is either 0.0 (via tmm) or eth0 (via mgmt) - Gambler_168259

We have configured the user_alert.config file ... these are the custom alerts under /etc directory with /alertd/alert.conf file..... I have to check the user_alert.conf file in the config directory where we have configuered all the alerts for the pool members.
