F5 LTM 11.4 (force traffic to one Pool Member)

Hi Folks,

 

I have a Virtual Server having pool containing two pool members. I have a requirement to send or force traffic to always use one pool member unless it fail, if it is fail then use other pool member and once the pool member is back the traffic should fall back.

 

Could you please advise that how to achieve above.

    It will do if you connections are short lived, like http with a low keep alive. If you connections are long running tcp connections then it will not reset them so they will continue to go to the fall back node until they are closed by the server or the client. I think there should be a way to fix this with an iRule.
