F5 GTM - link/DC red when remote side is non-F5

Dear all,

 

 

I want to add Server/VSever to a pool on GTM. Server is reachable, virtual server (http) is reachable however it all gets red because the GTM classifies the link as unreachable:

 

 

 

Monitor gateway_icmp from gtmd : no reply from big3d: timed out

 

 

 

I have added Datacentre DC3 with link link-dc3 and applied monitor (gateway_icmp) on it. When testing from CLI I can ping the link-dc3 IP fine and am getting echo replies.

 

 

 

Any hint what could be wrong?

    Might be too late, considering when you posted this, but did you add the GTM as a server to the config first?
