Nov 24, 2009F5 Firepass and Windows 7
Hi there,
We have a user which has upgraded his laptop to Windows 7 Home Premium.
He is now trying to connect to the F5 Firepass, but is not able to logon.
He get's the message "Logon Denied. Your device does not comply to current client security policies.".
He has tried using 2 different browsers:
- Internet Explorer 8.0.07600
- Firefox 3.5.5
Does any one know if this is already supported by F5 Firepass?
Many thanks for your help.
Kind regards,
Ronny

I believe Windows 7 OS session variable is seen as 'WinNT'. If your pre-login sequence denies Windows NT4 machines based on this variable your Windows 7 machines will be blocked too.

Not to be rude but you should ask your IT folks... This is a rather simple set of exclusion list on the prelogon sequence. Version 6.0.3.2.1 and below recognize windows 7 as WinNT. If you are using version 6.0.3.5.1 the correct variable is displayed. - sandra_bermudez

What is the issue Sandra? You can not get through the logon process or the terminal server connection?
