I am needing assistance with configuring a script to have Enterprise Manager for the F5 device to control the syncing of the my devices during a schedule time of the day.

Have you tried the Advanced Design & Config: EM Template page?
This has really helped me out in the past.
If you are v11.4+, have you thought about changing your traffic-group to auto-sync?
