F5 configuration on certificates for back end servers
Dear Gurus, I am queite new in this knowledge domain. I plan to create virtual server on F5 to launch a new service via https protocol. My puzzle is whether I should install the certificate on back end servers or on F5 appliance. If I should install it on F5, does it mean that the certificate I am gonna apply for should contain IP/hostname and all other info of virtual server on F5 rather than of back end servers? Highly appreciated for those who can deliver me an answer targeting the similar case.

Unless you have specific regulatory reasons for having end-to-end encryption, I would recommend installing the SSL cert on the F5 instead of the servers as it provides a single point of management.
