F5 Cloud license pool without BIG-IQ

Hi All,

We are planning to use cloud license pool. But doc says license pool we can use only through BIG-IQ. 
We do not have any plans to use BIG-IQ can we use license pool without BIG-IQ using iControl REST API 
from an internal management server which manages all the F5 configurations ?

    Hi Nazir,

     

    There is BIG-IQ free of use for this. It is called License Manager and the main purpose of this is to manage license pools. Ask for a free license to your F5 representative and give it a try, I am using it and gives you great flexibility. You can attach and detach licenses to your virtual big-ips without request that to support.
