F5 CLI XML Formatting question...
Hello everyone,
Palo Alto firewalls support the ability to change how the configuration is displayed within the CLI from XML to set (set cli config-output-format set). Does the F5 support this option with a similar command?
Thanks!
I also work with palo alto and I don't think there is such option in F5 cli preferences (https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K77130210) for example to see the running config as "tmsh xxx" similar to the palo alto "set" output. You can only see it in JSON format :(
You can still see some possible options below:
F5 SCF config files:
https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K13408
Youcan export/import some config in CVS format:
https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K72255145?utm_source=f5support&utm_medium=RSS
You can also copy and paste large config blocks from a terminal:

There is no set or xml format in F5. Its just JSON.
