F5 Big-IP LTM with Azure Web Apps

Hello everyone,

 

For a future migration of our applications to azure, we are looking into migrating/deploying F5 to Azure. We would like to use the functionalities of F5 while using Azure Web Apps.

 

Now it seems to me that you can only connect F5 in Azure with Azure Web Apps when you have an App Service Environement. So an isolated App service connected with your Vnet. Is this correct ?

 

Any helpfull documentation on the matter would also be appreciated.
