F5 BIG-IP Failover Question - Interruption in Service

Will configuring Active/Standby Failover on a set of F5 BIG-IP devices cause an interruption in service if one of the BIG-IP devices is currently processing traffic? Also, will this cause a "recycle"...

If you mean, reboot by the term recycle, the answer is no, it won't cause a reboot.

 

It should not cause any traffic interruption, if you plan it out carefully. Make sure all the interfaces except for the HA interface on the standby F5 is shut and then activate it during a maintenance window.
