F5 AWS AMI and Licensing

I have a customer that recently purchased Better licenses for VE. They are wanting to use these licenses in an AWS BYOL AMI instance. However, they also purchased m4.large from AWS. This is only supported in the AWS GOOD AMI (BYOL). The only reason for purchasing the Better license was to get BIG-IP DNS, there are no future plans to run other modules in the cloud.

Is it possible use the AWS Good AMI with an F5 Better license and only provision the DNS module? Does F5 strip the other modules out of the AWS Good AMI? Does AWS check if your F5 license matches the AWS AMI?
