• Q1. Can I install BIG IP F5 ASM with new license in the same box

Yes you can, you just have to validate that your currente equipment (hardware or VE) support this 2 modules in terms of resource. what do you use of VE or hardware? and if it's hardware what is it?

• Q2. Do we have to reconfigure complete F5 BIG IP to install F5 ASM in the same box

No you don't have to configure your equipment completely. the addition of the ASM module is very simple and you can do it independently. you just have to install a new license (ASM) for an add-on module and provision ASM module. more info in the following link:

Once License installed and module deployed you can create your ASM policy an deployed it on your VS. So as you can see current LTM configuration is not affected...

• Q3. Can I trial the F5 ASM with existing F5 BIG IP LTM

Yes you can and I advise you to do it. You can asked to F5 or your account manager an eval license for ASM for your equipement. So you will have to provide your "Base Registration Key" of your currente equipement then F5 will give you an add-on.
