F5 APM vs NetScaler Access Gateway

Hi All

 

 

I am looking for remote users access to my Citrix VDI. The users are mobile users who need to access the Citrix VDI remotely.

 

The users will have either Laptop or mobile devies like IPhone/IPad.

 

Was looking for the best soltuon for this.

 

2 solutions were identified for this. One is the Netscaler gateway solution & the other is the BIG IP APM solution.

 

Wanted to know how F5 APM solution is betten than the NetScaler gateway solution.

 

 

Any ideas. Have any one have experience on this.

    That article shows how F5 approach allows to drastically simplify and reduce the complexity of providing remote access to Citrix environment as opposed to utilizing the native Citrix/Netscaler solution. Is there anything that we can help explain/clarify better than written in there - just let us know.

    but from the document i am getting how exactly BIG IP holds the edge over Netscaler

     

    I am looking for the comparison how BIG IP favours over Netscaler. I am not getting it.

     

    Cause i need to select the right product based on the compariosn.

    The Citrix Web Interface server authenticates users and displays available/published applications. BIGIP replaces the need for these server farms by performing user authentication and displaying available applications using F5 dynamic webtops. The BIGIP also securely proxies application traffic by using SSL encapsulation.
