F5 APM & LTM as Gateway for IOS-RD-Client

Hello,

 

i need to set up a RDP-Gateway for IOS-Devices to connect to Windows Computers via RDP. The APM should inspect a Client-Cert, then assign a RDesktop and a Webtop, looks like this:

 

when I browse with the Safari-Browser to the VS, I get the field where to insert the client-name or IP-Adress, then the device wants to connect via the installed RD-Client (in the Client-Settings I configered the Gateway with "server.com:443", but I can't get the connection to work. (Error on Ipad: Errorcode: 0x03000008)

 

Does anyone have an idea, where to search?

 

maybe it's a Problem of the RD-App in combination with Client Cert?

 

Does it work, that the connection from Internet to VS is HTTPS, and the connection from F5 to Client is rdp (3389)?

 

Another problem is the selection of the Client Cert, there are 2 certs available, but they are from the same CA.

 

Version is v13, hotfix 2
