F5 access in safari browse
Hello,
I have had some users complain that they cannot access the gui for a F5 bigip ltm. It turns out it just wasn't working in safari. Is this a known issue? Does anyone know if this can be addressed on the user side? Thanks in advance and any information is greatly appreciated.

They aren't able to access it at all. They never get to a login page. It's on code version 11.5.1. Thanks for the quick response! Edit: They are able to login just fine using firefox - What_Lies_Bene1

FYI, I don't believe Safari is an officially supported browser, whereas IE, Firefox and Chrome are.

I'm not sure about LTM, but Safari is officially supported for APM. And yes, sometimes Safari can't connect. It's rare issue, mostly happens after reboot or sleep, and the reason is unclear (looks like Safari makes some request 'improvements', and BIG-IP doesn't respond on improper request). Some workarounds that can help: switch network interface (connect via Wi-Fi instead of Ethernet and vice versa); disable Apple Firewall; reset Safari; connect using other browser, and the try Safari again; wait for some time. And the easiest way is just use Firefox, I haven't notice this issue with the Firefox browser.

Thanks for the replies. I am just going to advise them to use firefox, I don't personally use safari so I have never run into this issue.
