Feb 08, 2010F5 3DNS configuration
Hi Sir,
I am new to F5,not sure whether this is the place to ask this simple question.
we will use F5 3DNS load balancer for the new project. We have our PROD site : San Francisco, BCP site: Denver, in the F5 configuration, we will do the following items:
1) there will be global load balancer setup. The site: www.testing.com will map to "global load balancer"
2) behind global load balancer, there will be two local load balancer: PROD and BCP
3) We would like to route all requests to PROD site. We would like to make BCP site standby.
Is it possible to configure to manage requests route in Global Load Balancer?
Thanks very much.

Hi Yi,
This is a fairly common implementation scenario where you have a 3DNS load balancing an active and standby datacenter. You could review 3dns (or gtm?) config guide for your version on AskF5.com for details. Or you could contact an F5 sales engineer for help with the initial setup.

Aaron,
Thx for information. I will read the 3dns doc later.
