How you configure your IP addressing for either VLAN is entirely up to you. Whatever you configure, yes LTM will route between the VLANs but note this is only where the traffic is handled by a Virtual Server or S/NAT. Other traffic is dropped by default. If you want to change this behaviour you can configure routing virtual servers.
