Explain receive string and receive disable string?

Explain receive string and receive disable string?   RCV string and RCV disable string relation in order to mark pool member as UP and DOWN ?

Panki, may I refer you to the following solution k12818

 

This should explain how the receive string and receive disable string work and, additionally, work together. Essentially the receive string will be used to mark a pool member Up and the receive disable string is used to mark a pool member down.
