Exchange 2007 CAS

has anyone attempted using F5s docs on how to configure Exchange 2007 CAS servers with the BigIP LTM v9.1.1? Their guide seems like it would work, but I think it is missing something...the exchange 2007 bigip config guide makes reference to SSL offloading documents for exchange 2003. this is what has confused me about setting up everything...

    No usage with the Hub or Edge Servers (we dont use Edge we have something else in place for that). But I used F5s Docs for our deployment (with minor changes) and I must say it works great.

    Hi,

     

     

    I thought this may solve my problems, however Im having the problem where our client access servers (using forms authentications) are redirecting clients to http:// not https://. I have correctly set the external URLs in the owa client access settings. If I have the httpTohttps redirect iRule enable it causes a redirect look.

     

     

    Exchange just does not seem to want to assume SSL if offloaded.

     

     

    Any help would be appreciated.

    You should be able to insert a custom HTTP header called front-end-https with a value of 'on' to instruct OWA to use https in the links. See SOL6087 (Click here) for details on how to configure this.
