Exchange 2003 ActiveSync & LTM's?

Hello Everyone:

 

 

We currently have 2 Exchange 2003 Front-End servers for OWA that are load balanced behind LTM's. Does anyone know if it's possible to use ActiveSync was well?

 

 

Any asslstance would be appreciated.

    Hi Bryan,

     

     

    Since ActiveSync is essentially a https request, I would think that you'd be able to use the LTM for ActiveSync as well. I've included some FAQs for ActiveSync on Exchange 2003: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/bb288524.aspx.

     

     

    for configuration advice, I would check out the deployment guide for version 10 BIG-IP and Exchange 2010: http://www.f5.com/pdf/deployment-guides/f5-exchange-2010-dg.pdf

     

     

    You can search the document for ActiveSync, and find the section that discusses configuration steps.
