Enabled (no Delete) GTM

Good day,   I was wondering if the VS discovery is set to enabled (no delete) what does it mean?   From what I read and understand:   A wide IP and pool exists that points to VS of two LTM's...

The latter option - object remains in DNS config but can be administratively deleted.
