Enable X-forward for Layer-4 VIP or NON-HTTP VIP on F5

Hi Team, want to know how to Enable X-forward for Layer-4 VIP or NON-HTTP VIP on F5. I have L3 on core switch and all servers are having gateway as Switch only. F5- having dedicated partition and having self IP, floating IP and their gw is also -switch.

 

I have configured one VIP- with Performance layer-4, non-http port- like- 84, and want to see the source IP add in header. Currently we are able 2 see only self IP of LB-1

    Hi,

     

    I can't see a way. To manipulate L7 data you need L7 profile - at least fastHTTP. Maybe ther would be a way to collect server response and then try to manipulate is at binary level but I am not sure if inserting data at L4 is possible.

     

    Why not take easier route and use Standard typ VS with HTTP profile?
