Email notification for F5 Big IP
Hi Everyone,
I would like to ask for assistance on how we can create or set up an email notification of our F5 appliance so it will be prompt for critical and important events happening on the machine (e.g. when the appliance failed to update the attack signatures, the license/registration expiration/renewal, SSL certificate expiration, etc.)
Can you tell me the steps or the things we need or this to work? Thank you!

You will need to setup your LTM to use an SMTP relay and then config custom alerts via the user_alerts.conf in /config. Below are links to some resources that can explain a little bit more. Essentially, you will need to setup custom alerts that filter for the log messages you want to send an email for.
