Email Alert Question

Hey all,

 

 

I asked this question in a previous thread, but no one had answered... so here it goes again.

 

 

In the email notifications for Pool & Node members, is it possible to modify the subject line of the email to specify the actual server name instead of IP address?

    Hi Phil,

     

     

    I don't think there is a simple way to include the node name, as it's not present in the original alert that is logged to /var/log/ltm. Maybe you could open a case with F5 Support to ask if there is a workaround and/or request this functionality be added to a future release.
