Feb 03, 2009Dynamic ARP problem
Dear Experts,
I have two pairs of load balancers installed and have cascaded these two pairs. All four load balancers are running 9.3.1 OS. Each pair is working as Active/Passive.
My problem is that these two pairs can not communicate with each other and cant even ping to each other even when they are connected directly with a cross-over cable. I tried to find the reason and found out that in the dynamic ARP table of each load balancer, I have all nodes and routers MAC addresses, except for the other pair's MAC address which is being shown as resolved, but is ff.ff.ff.ff.ff.ff which is a broadcast MAC address.
Is there any limitation or any software bug when cascading load balancrs?
Looking for your advices
