Downtime when adding more servers to a live pool?
Hi,
1) Will there be any downtime if I create nodes in disabled/forced offline state and then add them to an active pool AS IS?
2) When the time comes that I need to enable these nodes , will ...

The answer to both of your questions is no. This is a good controlled approach for introducing new resources.
Once you add the new node into your pool and activate it, then it'll begin processing connections according to your load balancing algorithm.

I'd first determine which of your pool members you want to put into the highest priority group and change those server values during an off-peak hour. Then adjust the priority of the second or lower tier members accordingly. No traffic will be lost however you end up doing it, but doing it during off peak hours will ensure one of your hosts doesn't get overloaded unexpectedly.
