Does Update of Data Collection Agent (big3d) Impact Traffic through LTM?

I just got EM VE 3.1.1HF3 up and running. All my devices require an update of the DCA/big3d service. This was expected, but I would like to get some verification on whether or not the install/update process impacts traffic flow on the target LTM devices. I did not find any mention of impact in the documentation regarding updating the service. Thanks.

    It does not impact traffic flow since big3d is only responsible for communications between BIG-IP appliances, for metrics collection and such. Restarting big3d will not impact traffic flow on any of your LTMs.
