Does the APM Java Client for Microsoft RDP restrict user access on the server ?
We have servers that are accessed by contractors via RDP. We would like to restrict the ability of the contractors, once connected, to access shared file resources on the RDP connected server. Does the APM Java Client for Microsoft have the capability to restrict that type of access ?

Hi Bruce, can you give more detail about this? You're not trying to limit who can connect to a specific RD server, rather you want to limit what they can do on your network once they've logged in. Is that correct?

yes, that is correct. We would like to limit them from accessing a remote drive share from that RDP server that they have connected to.

We don't currently have that capability. Could you use AD group membership and ACLs on the share to accomplish the same thing?

Mike, Thanks so much for your answer. I suspected that was the case.
