Does sysInterfaceStatResetStats work in 9.2.x??

I'm trying to signal my LTMs running 9.2.4 to reset their interface stats by issuing an SNMP set on sysInterfaceStatResetStats. The SNMP SET command completes with no errors, but none of the sysInterfaceStatTable interface values reset?!? Does this object really work?? Has anyone else been able to reset the stats to zero??
