Does SSL profile requires HTTP profile while performing ssl offload on F5

Does client SSL profile mandatorily require to be combined with HTTP profile? Or combining with just TCP profile is sufficient when the f5 is not performing any other layer 7 processing like persiste...

Hello,

 

As soon as you don't make any action on the HTTP layer on that VS (Header Manipulation within an iRule or L7 Persistance profile), it should work with TCP + SSL profiles.
