Does reboot require when re-activate license.

i do not think hardware reboot is indeed required but configuration must be re-loaded, so it will affect application traffic anyway.

I think it'll be waste of time if perform hardware rebooting when everything is fine.

 

Yes. Normally I'd do the license on the standby unit, and then when the connection tables are synced up, move the active services (traffic-groups_ to the unit with the updated license. Then do the second. That way there's no (Or minimal) interruption of services.
