Does reboot require when re-activate license.

In version 11.2.1

 

 

Does rebooting require when re-activate license?

 

 

In 9.3.x is require but in 11.2.1 i didn't sure it does.

  • i do not think hardware reboot is indeed required but configuration must be re-loaded, so it will affect application traffic anyway.

    so it'll be just briefly interrupted while configuration re-loaded .

     

    I think it'll be waste of time if perform hardware rebooting when everything is fine.

    Yes. Normally I'd do the license on the standby unit, and then when the connection tables are synced up, move the active services (traffic-groups_ to the unit with the updated license. Then do the second. That way there's no (Or minimal) interruption of services.
