Does LTM support FTPS?

I still haven't seen a more recent post with any kind of example of decrypting FTPS traffic and routing the cleartext traffic to a pool.

Has anyone gotten ftps (Ftp over SSL) to work with the LTM doing the SSL? Since LTM will not let you use the FTP profile with an SSL profile, I tried to use None for the ftp profile and an SSL Client profile. This actually worked to establish the connection and the login succeeded. However, none of the commands after that were understood.

Just wanted to clarify my last post. I have specified "None" for the FTP profile but I did specify an SSL Profile. When I connect from an FTP client, the FTP client and LTM negotiate the SSL fine. The LTM then passes the username and password to the FTP server and the login succeeds. When the FTP client then tries to issue any command (such as a listing) they are not understood.

Thank You, so is that possible to configure pass thru LTM to FTP server in a different subnet? Let's say LTM is in DMZ and I would like to send all requests to servers in production segment. Can I use FastL4 or L2Forward policies to implement?

 

Has anyone resolved this issue with FTP..once the FTP profile is set to none it causes ftp problems...any advice?

I haven't heard about support for FTPS. There is an existing CR noting this request: CR47551. You could contact F5 Support to find out if it has been/is planned to be supported at some point. You can ask them to attach your case to the CR to raise the visibility of the request.
