DNS translation

Hello please look at the image ,F5 GTM deployed in the border , client pc visit internet through F5. client dns is f5 self ip . For the configuration of F5 ,I think client can't receive any response ,but I found client dig/nslookup url ,dns response to client . I don't understand,please help me .

    Looks like a exam question. 😛

    dig is using the root servers, so it can find the answer. While ping is probably using the pc dns ip.

    Try:

    dig @192.168.43.20 www.google.com

    With that you will be using the DNS server you want, and should not work (same behavior as the ping)
