Is it possible to have 2 TXT records with same name but different data?

 

I have a TXT/SPF record for domain.com. and need to create an additional TXT record for domain.com. (same name) with different data. Is that allowable? In BIND there is a record type of SPF but in F5 zone runner the only type for SPF is TXT is there a different SPF type?

    Yes, you can have multiple TXT records for the same domain with different data, specifically the root domain in your case. The SPF resource record type was abandoned long ago. BIND only supports TXT and I know there aren't many mail devices or software that ever adopted the SPF resource record type. The RFC for SPF requires the use of TXT records.
