Disable HA before we change configuration
Hi Anyone can take a look the process for changing configuration in F5. Thank you in advance
disable HA --> change configuration(in unit2,standby) --> Force to standby(in unit1,Active) --> Request App test --> Sync(unit2 to unit1) --> enable HA --> Force to standby(in unit2) --> Request App test
Do you think the first step "disable HA" is necessary?

Why are you disabling HA? Do you perhaps mean disable sync?
I think the wiser move would be to disable Automatic Sync for the Device Group, make changes to the standby, then fail over traffic to that device and have the application groups test. If the tests fail, switch back to the other unit that didn't have any changes. If the tests pass, sync the changes to the now standby unit.
Save a UCS from both devices before and after changes, while you're in there...
