Differentiating traffic of PC from Phone
Hi All,
In my company, there is a business requirement from the client. The client want to achieve following objective :
“We need a way to determine if the access from LinkedIn to our WDA is done via phone or PC, if it is via phone we need to show a different webpage saying the application is not available, if the access is via PC, we need to redirect to our WDA"
What logic can we use in F5 LTM to achieve this.
Regards, Vijay Rai

You will need to do this via an iRule, specifically you will need to look at the HTTP header User-Agent to see if that contains any of the strings that identifies the client as a phone. I would use a Data Group to list those strings to simplify adding additional strings if needed.
You can use an iRule as suggested by Henrik, or you can use the local traffic policies instead.
