difference between i series and s series

We have 4000s model with LTM want to acquire ASM license on Same platform will it work and we are suggested with iseries why we should go with iseries if we have s series.

    Hi,

     

    The 4000s can run ASM with LTM and is still a supported platform. The iSeries is the new platform from F5 with better performance.

     

    It depends on your company's needs in terms of throughput, number of connections and SSL traffic.
