deleting a node

I have inherited LTM/GTM combo devices and they have a lot of legacy/obsolete configs. I am trying to clean up the configs. My questions is if I delete a node does it remove its reference from all the pools ? wish had a lab to test this .

    If the node is currently a member of a pool, you'll get an error like this:

     

    Node address '/Common/dummy' is referenced by a member of pool '/Common/empty_pool'.

    Makes sense, so I would have to unassociate it from all the pools before deleting it.
